The railway data shown in Train Radar comes from the official open data programmes below. It remains the property of its publishers and is used under their licences.
United Kingdom
- Powered by National Rail — real-time train information from the Darwin data feeds (Rail Data Marketplace).
- Contains information of Network Rail Infrastructure Limited, licensed under the Network Rail data feeds licence (train describer and train movement data).
Germany
- Timetable and real-time data: Deutsche Bahn AG, DB API Marketplace (Timetables API), licensed under CC BY 4.0.
- Station reference data derived from the trainline-eu/stations dataset, licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL).
Switzerland
- Timetable and real-time data: opentransportdata.swiss — the open data platform for Swiss public transport (GTFS and GTFS-Realtime).
Austria
- Data source: Mobilitätsverbünde Österreich OG – data.mobilitaetsverbuende.at
- Timetable data: ÖBB-Personenverkehr AG, licensed under CC BY 4.0.
- Real-time data for Austrian stations also via Deutsche Bahn AG (Timetables API, CC BY 4.0).
Netherlands
- Data: NS — real-time train positions and travel information from the NS API portal (Nederlandse Spoorwegen).
- Timetable data: OVapi / NDOV loket — Dutch open public transport data.
